ARUSHA REGION

Arusha Region is one of 31 administrative regions in Tanzania located north of the country. The region's capital and largest city is the city of Arusha. The Region is bordered by Kenya to the north, to the east by the Kilimanjaro Region, to the south by the Manyara and Singida Regions, and to the west by the Mara and Simiyu regions.

The region is a well-known tourist destination due to its nearness to many of Tanzania's national parks and game reserves, including the Serengeti National Park, one of the best National Parks in the world, Ngorongoro Conservation Area  Ngorongoro Conservation Area UNESCO World Heritage Site, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, the highest free-standing mountain in Africa and the tallest in the world.

Arusha is home to Arusha National Park and Mount Meru.

Arusha is an economic hub for Tanzania. The city is home to many international organizations, including the East African Community, the African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights, and the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda.

Arusha is a great trading center, with several agricultural and industrial products produced and exported from the city.

Arusha is a multicultural region with a diverse population of people from different ethnic groups, religions, and cultures.

The city has many expatriates who work for international organizations or businesses.
