LAKE MANYARA
Lake Manyara National Park is a national park in Tanzania's Manyara Region, between Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley.
It is run under the Tanzania National Parks Authority and covers an area of 325 km2 (125 sq mi) with about 230 km2 of lake surface with more than 350 bird species.
The park is known for its diverse habitats, including acacia woodlands, savannah grasslands, a forested area, flood plains, and the rocky escarpment of the Rift Valley.
The park is also home to some wild animals, including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, and over 400 species of birds.
Other animals in Lake Manyara National Park include leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, baboons, and monkeys. The park is also home to reptiles and amphibians, including crocodiles, snakes, and lizards.
Lake Manyara National Park is a popular tourist destination with some activities for visitors.
