MAHALE MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK
Mahale Mountains National Park is in the Kigoma Region of western Tanzania. It is a 1,613-square-kilometer park, home to many wild animals, including chimpanzees, lions, elephants, leopards, and buffalo. The park is also home to rare and endangered species, like the black rhinoceros and the Grevy's zebra.
The park is in a semi-arid region and a mix of vegetation of savanna, woodland, and scrubland.
